Whether you require concept development, design for testability, or design for manufacturability, Optum Engineering has the experience and tools required to get the job done on time and within budget.

An example of our work is an internally developed Network Audio Processor (NAP). The dual-processor NAP provides synchronized connectivity over Ethernet utilizing a combination of dedicated hardware and software to ensure no samples are dropped.

The NAP provides connection to up to 64 channels with sample rates as high as 192 kHz at a 24-bit resolution. A dedicated digital signal processor (DSP) provides the necessary processing power required for the most demanding applications. Interfacing to multiple 8-channel microphone preamp modules and multiple 8-channel line out modules, a wide array of configurations are possible.
